The Independent Remuneration Board of the Senedd is an independent body responsible for ensuring Members of the Senedd have the appropriate remuneration and resources available to them to undertake their role. This includes setting the salaries of Members as well as their other allowances such as staffing and office costs.

Part Two Consultation for the Determination for the Seventh Senedd:

The Board has launched its consultation on Part Two of the Review of the Determination for the Seventh Senedd on 2 April 2025. The consultation will close on 4 June 2025.

Determination 2025-26:

The Board published the Determination 2025-26, an Exceptional Statement                                                   and a Decision Letter on 28 March 2025. 

Part One Consultation Report:

The Board published its Part One Consultation Report on 28 March 2025.

Board members are appointed by the Senedd Commission for a fixed term of five years. Membership of the current Board is outlined below.
